Refilling instructions for
Samsung CLP300 -
CLX2160 - CLX3160 models -
putting in the powder is
fairly easy, however, it is a practical task requiring some basic tools
- We supply detailed pictorial instructions with refill toner.
(1)
you require to make a hole
into the cartridge using the "Hole Making Tool"
(2)
Fit the Filler Spout onto the bottle - cap it - shake the bottle - uncap
then you simply pour in powder
(3) Be careful not to
Overfill - Recap the bottle - Then seal the hole made into the cartridge
with tape
(4) If chip has expired
fit a new chip
Always
refill on a surface which can tolerate any spillage.
Generally, it may be a
good idea to put in less powder than to "overfill" - but ensure that you are
refilling an "empty" - not a half filled cartridge! Always shake the
toner bottle vigorously before pouring - this makes the powder flow like
liquid.

| The Samsung CLP-300 /
CLX2160 / CLX3160
are top-performing printers in its category,
Samsung released this new Colour Lazer Printer for the small office /
home office market around Jan 06 - designed to be very affordable to enter the colour laser
printer arena (RRP - £179.99 inc.). It is described as "The world's smallest
and lightest colour laser printer with unequalled Samsung reliability." It
certainly seems to fulfil it's promise. With all low cost colour lasers
there usually is a "sting in the tail" with higher running costs. The price
data we have so far to assess the overall running costs suggests a lower
cost per cartridge than other similarly prices colour lazers, however, the
page yield is significantly lower also! it looks like this small new machine
will have a broad appeal. As to whether we can provide an early toner refill
option for it - is at this stage an unknown - but we will be looking closely
at this and hope to offer advice shortly. capable of printing 20
pages of black and white or 5 pages of colour per minute. With the
optional paper tray, the CLP-300 can handle up to 850 sheets at a time.

use. The built-in LCD status monitor, the quick-toner change design, the
one-touch duplex printing make this an ideal choice for a demanding business
environment. With optional 802.11b and Ethernet connections and the embedded
