IMPORTANT
These OKI C8600 / C8800 cartridges have a Microchip ("Killer chip")
fitted which Dies when the printer says the cartridge is "empty".
A new chip is probably needed for each refill. The chip is "Universal"
for each cartridge. Please Note -
Starter Cartridges may not have a place to easily fit the chip - It is a
radio frequency device which is simply there to "communicate" it is
present to the printer and can be taped onto the sensor inside the C8600
or C8800 printer. This fools the printer into thinking the cartridge is
present. |

Refilling instructions for
OKI C8600, OKI
C8800 Laser Cartridges: Please
note that refilling is a practical task requiring some practical skills,
however refilling these OKI cartridges is very straight forward.
-
putting in the powder is
fairly easy
- We supply instructions for refilling
which can be sent by email. We also recommend the Funnels. Our 160gm bottles give a much
higher print yield than the "Standard Capacity" OKI cartridge - therefore we
recommend that you refill cartridges when "empty" and in any case it is a
good idea to underfill rather than risk an overfill.

Chip" on the cartridge - Simply remove the expired chip and
fit the new one in it's place There is one chip per cartridge
PLEASE NOTE; Starter cartridges
may have no chip slot - so until we get an answer (this is being
worked on) we do not recommend you refill Starter cartridges without
the chip slot
