ILRS (Ink Level Restore System) invented by the (really clever) electronics boffins at :- |
The British Inkjet Manufacturing Company |
Step 1 -chip holder
Take the blue chip holder (supplied with chip fitted inside) |
Step 2 - Reprogramme the chip
Next slide the blue chip holder (with the chip fitted)into the reprogrammer. You will see a little lightinside the blue case light up. When it flashes slowly (about 1hz)the reprogramming is complete andthe chip has been reset to "Full". Remove the chip holder from thereprogrammer |
Step 3 - Fit the chip onto the ILRS compatible cartridge
The final step is to slide the blue chipholder (with the reprogrammed Epsonchip still in it)onto a new compatiblecartridge. The cartridge is now ready for installation into theprinter and is installed in the same way as you would instal any new Epson orindeed a new compatible cartridge |
The ILRS system is a way to save money by a carrying out a few simple steps - as described above |
