Resetting the cartridge to
"Full"

Have a "Killer Chip"
inside the cartridge - look at a cartridge with the handle towards you -
on the right hand side there are 3 contacts and with the top / side
cover removed you can locate the chip here - There is one chip per
cartridge and these must be replaced with new chips before the cartridge
will work again. A soldering iron is required to do it.

- putting in the powder is
easy - you simply unscrew the top - this shows you inside - locate the
filler plug - it is the recessed circular piece of plastic beside the
three copper terminals mentioned above - use a screwdriver to wedge into
the side of the plug to prise it out and then simply pour in. Do this on
a surface which can tolerate any spillage.
Please note that refilling is a practical task requiring some tools &
practical skills
Generally, it may be a
good idea to put in less than the full bottle. Always shake the
toner bottle vigorously before pouring - this makes the powder flow like
liquid. |
