Refilling instructions for
Samsung CLP500 -
CLP 500N - CLP550 - CLP 550N
-remove four screwsto lift off the top - this shows you inside
- on the right hand side where the 3 copper terminals
are there is a filler plug which is removed
then pour powder in
via this. Do this on surface which can tolerate a spillage e.g.
a newspaper. Please
note that refilling is a practical task requiring some tools & practical
skills
Generally, it may be a
good idea to put in less than the full bottle - but no one has described
problems indicating overfilling. Always shake the toner bottle
vigorously before pouring - this makes the powder flow like liquid.
Resetting the cartridge to
"Full"
Look at a cartridge with the handle towards you - on the right hand side
there are 3 contacts and with the cover
removed- you see two small
devices one is the resetter - They are
different for the Black and colours - We now
supply these with Bottle orders.
If the
devices(s) are not replaced it does not stop
you printing - just annoying
as printer says "empty"
